The Spitfire Building was built specifically for the boot polish manufacturer Everett and Company in 1905. The foundation stone on the front of the building confirms that the company was established in 1800 and provided boot polish to both King Edward VII and the Prince of Wales. The building has now been completely refurbished and extended. A two storey rooftop extension provides access to eight new residential properties and the original floors below have been fully refurbished to provide around 15,000 sq.ft. of office accommodation.
