Architects from the Czech Republic stayed with Aluprof in Wroclaw

Historic Wroclaw, the city of meetings, also called the Venice of the North – was the place of the conference organised for the group of top architectural offices from the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

During the conference, Aluprof presented the abilities of the latest solutions of its MB-TT50, MB-86 and MB-77HS systems, and also a number of individual solutions which had to meet the architects’ assumptions, as well as constructional and assembly requirements at the design and realisation level. An example of such solutions is, among other things, the element-based façade MB-SE85 SG developed for the Sky Tower project. The special guest of the conference, the Chief Designer of Aluprof S.A., Mr Dariusz Ruśniok presented the challenges to be met when creating such a demanding project. The chief asset of the meeting was the possibility to watch live the latest projects realised based on Aluprof aluminium systems. In addition to Sky Tower, the invited guests watched live the winner of the title of the Perfect House, the apartment building Thespian. Additionally, the guests could admire the City Stadium where matches were played during the UEFA European Football Championship 2012.

Not only Monopol hotel where Aluprof guests were staying, but also the main attractions of the evening will remain in the meeting participants’ memories for a long time. These included, among others, the concert of blues band Outsider in the Pod Papugami restaurant and show of multimedia fountains in a special programme entitled “Four Elements”. During the evening, the invited architects had a chance to listen to the lecture entitled “Searching for the architectural identity of Wroclaw” at the famous Hala Stulecia, delivered by the architecture critic, Mr Roman Rutkowski – the lecturer of the Faculty of Architecture of the Wroclaw University of Technology and Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava.

The conference partners were LOP, SIKA, GEZE.
