FLAT CLAMPING STRIP FOR THE ALUPROF MB-SR50N HI+ SYSTEM

The MB-SR50N HI+ façade system features excellent thermal insulation and is enhanced by the aesthetic finish of an external aspect in the form of the flat clamping strip. It is an exceptionally rigid structure, but is just 46 mm wide and, at the same time, it maintains the shallow exterior of the curtain wall. Initial type tests have confirmed that the solution obtains an extremely high wind load resistance of 2700 Pa.

The strip comes in two variants. One is 5 mm deep and has a narrow clip which masks the fastening screws. The other is 7 mm deep and has a clip masking the entire width of the profile.

The flat strip serves as an alternative for façade solutions like the ALUPROF EFEKT, creating an aesthetic and, at the same time, slender means of attaching glazing. Pre-punched strips, which feature pre-milled installation openings, are also available.
