The MB-SE65 unitised curtain wall is a product of Aluprof's extensive experience in designing for high-rise buildings in the United States, such as New York's 278-meter-high The Greenwich, Brooklyn Navy Yard, LIC Marriott, and Sky View Parc. In Europe, the first projects to feature the MB-SE65 system include Global Office Park in Katowice and Sky Office in Vilnius. This innovative curtain wall system is tailored for lightweight, suspended façades. Its modular construction enables complete prefabrication in the production plant, offering numerous advantages, including exceptional quality control under optimal conditions. Prefabrication speeds up the process, ensuring rapid delivery and eliminating the need for scaffolding during installation.

Diversity, flexibility, and originality—these are the hallmarks of the MB-SE65 façade system. The external profiles are a mere 65 mm, creating a visually sleek and lightweight appearance. Architects can choose between traditional glazing with slats or structural glazing, allowing for remarkable creative freedom. The system supports a wide range of insulating glass units, with thermal breaks tailored to individual project requirements. Its modular nature enables the creation of non-standard segments, including those with decorative profiles such as fins or razor blades. Double segments can also be seamlessly integrated. The MB-SE65 façade is compatible with both standard windows (MB-79N, MB-86N) and façade windows (MB-SR50N OW HI+), further expanding its design potential.

A notable feature is the use of specially designed connectors that control glue distribution at the corners, ensuring robust joints, excellent rigidity, and precise angles. Alternatively, screw channels can be used to join profiles without corners, offering even more flexibility. The system also employs unique expansion joints to compensate for horizontal and vertical movements, ensuring smooth structural performance over time. An element of outstanding performance

The technical solutions introduced translate into the very good parameters achieved by the MB-SE65 façade in laboratory tests. Air tightness and water tightness of 1,200 Pa, wind resistance of ±2,000 Pa and thermal insulation Uf of 1.6 W/(m²K) prove that the façade will perform perfectly in various weather conditions, so it can be used in projects all over the world. Safety tests of up to ±3,000 Pa and impact resistance of class I5/E5 prove that the façade is among the best on the market.

The only one of its kind on the market

The MB-SE65 system with photovoltaic panels is the first façade in Poland to meet the requirements of paragraph 225 of the Technical Conditions. Certified by the Building Research Institute using ML System panels, this system ensures that façade cladding elements remain securely attached to the building structure during fire incidents. Successfully tested for up to 120 minutes, the MB-SE65 combines safety, durability, and innovation.
