MB-86N EI

The MB-86N EI system is a comprehensive solution for fire-rated windows, doors and partitions with thermal insulation, designed for use in external fire separation assemblies. It enables the construction of opening windows, doors and fixed glazed partitions, offering fire resistance classes EI30, EW30 and EI15, as well as EI60-rated doors, in accordance with PN-EN 13501-2. Developed on the basis of the MB-86N platform, the system ensures excellent thermal and acoustic performance, combined with outstanding air and water tightness.

MB-86N EI seamlessly integrates the benefits of a conventional window and door system with the specialised properties of fire-rated barriers. It delivers high performance in terms of thermal efficiency, durability, usability and production technology. Installations executed using this system meet all applicable regulatory and normative requirements, particularly those related to energy efficiency and environmental protection, while providing a high level of fire safety. The system is classified as non-fire-spreading (NRO).

Key advantages of the MB-86N EI system:

• Three-chamber aluminium profiles with a central insulating chamber positioned between thermal breaks of 43 or 42 mm,
• Fire insulation elements incorporated into the internal chambers of the aluminium profiles, supported by dedicated accessories and materials used in the interface between the profiles and the glazing,
• EI₂-rated doors do not require fire insulation inserts within the profile chambers, enabling faster prefabrication and reduced system costs; in glazed façade applications, inserts are required in frame and transom profiles,
• A broad range of allowable glazing thicknesses supports the use of various insulating glass units, including triple glazing units,
• MB-86N EI windows are supplied as standard with RC2-rated burglary-resistant hardware.
