Aluprof S.A. expanded its sports sponsoring activities and decided to sign a contract with a Hungarian Women’s Volleyball League team, Aluprof – TF Budapest. The team’s name (Aluprof – TF Budapest) refers to the name of the leading sponsor and the Hungarian Academy of Physical Education, whose tradition dates back to 1925 and from which the club originated. Within the first stage of matches, due to end on 5 February 2012, Aluprof – TF Budapest will compete against 11 teams in 22 games.

The sponsoring of Aluprof – TF Budapest club is a step towards developing the brand of Aluprof in Hungary where volleyball is one of the most popular sports. This kind of involvement may also be useful in the process of building up inter-branch relations with other sponsors financing sports in Hungary including Suzuki, Decathlon and Legea.
