Ventilated Façades can improve thermal and acoustic insulation of the building. They are intended for use both in new and modernized buildings. Besides its outstanding insulation properties, it offers many other advantages – they are durable, modern and easy to install. Extrabond system is also characterized by a high fire resistance (PN-90/B-02867 class).

Extrabond is part of the Rainscreen group of ventilated façades. The special shape of its profiles and panels helps equalize pressure between the outer and the inner part of the wall which neutralizes forces causing water penetration behind the cladding of the façades. The whole wall of the building can freely breathe (diffusion) and the vapour is discharged outside, which prevents condensation.

It is worth pointing out that this kind of façade also allows the free movement of air, which improves the energy balance of the building – in the summer when the elevation heats up, the hot air rises to the top, and is replaced by cooler air. And the building does not heat up too much.

Extrabond system is intended for construction of external and internal cladding. It allows to freely design the visual aspects of objects, while giving them a modern character. The system consists of three basic components: a load-bearing structure made of aluminium, insulation and outer casing consisting of panels. Extrabond panels, made from resistant, high-quality aluminium, are characterized by high durability and resistance to weathering, UV radiation, corrosion and even graffiti. Importantly, their fire-resistance class is B-Sl d0 – they are composed of material which does not spread fire (NRO). In addition to aluminium panels, the Extrabond system can use fiber-cement and composite panels, giving virtually unlimited options to create façades.
