The modern powder paint shop is another prestigious project financed by Aluprof S.A. company this year. The  last finishing touches to  the start-up of the automatic powder coating processing line  are currently underway.

The installation is designed for the painting of aluminium elements including extruded shapes, pressure castings and sheets.

The line is fitted with a central control system enabling the efficient management of all engineering processes. Coded lifting beams allow for the programming of the desired travelling route. The automatic, smooth and regular flow of material guarantees the achievement of the set production and efficiency targets estimated at 1,2 – 1,4 mln m2/year of decorative coated area. Shapes and aluminium castings once suspended on the racks will not be removed until the whole engineering process is complete.

The material layered automatic cabin is equipped with:

automatic wall blowing system,

quick colour change system in automatic and manual operation mode,

separation and recirculation system of powder paint (cyclone and end filter),

automatic pump, hose and gun internal cleaning system, 

step-less adjustment of cabin speed,

barrier for horizontal and vertical element recognition enabling and disabling the guns.

two manual (re)painting stations,

a fire prevention system,

fresh paint preparation and supply system, so-called “powder paint centre”.

The project promotes environmentally friendly solutions. The surface will be prepared inside a 5-zone timed spray washer ensuring minimal water use and the amount of sewage produced. Surface treatment will involve a chrome-free aluminium treatment process. The chemical agents used in the process are non-toxic and QUALICOAT and GSB approved. The line is equipped with a reliable full-scale waste-water treatment system.
