Scandinavian impressions – seminars for architects

Aluprof, together with its partner companies: Dorma, Roto, Press-Glas, Euroglas, IGP and Sika once again organized a series of seminars for architects. The guiding motto of this year’s seminar was “Scandinavian impressions”. More than 160 architects participated in seminars held in September and October dedicated to the application of modern technologies in architecture. The guests also had the opportunity to visit picturesque and architecturally inspiring Scandinavian buildings and monuments.

During a 4-day trip the architects visited the cities of Ystad, Kopenhagen, Malmo and Oslo. The visitors were absolutely captivated by the city of Oslo, which, in the  fine weather, was fascinating with the Oslofiord, Holmenkollen ski jump, Frogner park with Gustav Vigeland’s sculptures and also the inspiring building of the Oslo Opera House (Operahuset) located at the beginning of the Oslofiord.

Denmark boasted the big black building of the Danish Royal Library, named the Black Diamond for its facade  of black granite, and the famous marble church. In Malmo  Turning Torso - the tallest structure in Sweden and one of the tallest residential buildings in Europe made an impression.

The Aluprof company wishes to thank all the conference partners and seminar guests in particular.
