Dolnośląska Agencja Energii i Środowiska s.c. (Lower Silesian Agency for Energy and Environment) and Krajowa Izba Architektów Rzeczpospolitej Polskiej (Polish Chamber of Architects) together with Aluprof company organized a series of training courses for architects: “Transparent partition walling in energy-efficient buildings” – New Legal Requirements for Architects and Civil Engineers.

Training aims at increasing the knowledge and skills to design transparent partition walling and their impact on the indoor climate and the building's energy performance. It will explore issues related to changes in the technical conditions which will apply from 1st January 2014 and the requirements for the first fix joinery in NFOŚiGW financial programs (requirements for NF 40 and NF15). The subject area of each meeting will cover the following topics:

Recent changes in the technical conditions to be met by buildings and their location relating to the first fix joinery and transparent partition walling;

Impact of transparent walling on the building's energy performance;

Determining joinery products’ specifications relevant to users;

Designing additional barriers that affect the building's energy performance;

First fix joinery and natural and mechanical ventilation;

Installation issues: energy-efficient installation methods;

Renewable energy sources in modern buildings;
