The MB-100GFT door and storefront system is an advanced solution for ground-floor entrances and shopfronts, offering good thermal insulation and above-average mechanical strength. It is ideal for use in shopping centres, public offices, cafés, and restaurants. With a robust design and resistance to heavy use, these doors remain reliable even in high-traffic areas. Integrating glazed walls with doors allows for attractive product displays and visually coherent exhibition spaces.

MB-100GFT doors and shopfronts with a thermal break

MB-100GFT swing doors can be opened in both directions – a particularly practical feature in commercial settings. There is also the option to lock one opening direction, allowing the functionality to be adapted to the specific needs of the space.

Manufacturers value the MB-100GFT for its exceptional ease of installation – thanks to its modular design. All components are fully compatible, eliminating the need for additional adapters and simplifying the installation process. The doors can be fitted together with the entire shopfront, making project completion faster and the work more efficient.

Doors tested for 1,000,000 opening cycles

The MB-100GFT stands out for its proven quality, confirmed by testing to one million opening and closing cycles. This reliability makes it an excellent choice for intensively used commercial facilities. The safe closing feature on the hinge side offers added protection, preventing fingers from being accidentally trapped – a particularly valuable benefit in locations frequented by children, such as schools and kindergartens.

For developers

  • Flexibility thanks to the ability to open the door both inwards and outwards
  • Available in two thermal versions – the standard ST and the high-insulation SI
  • Possibility to create an entire ground-floor entrance structure, enhancing the attractive display of products
  • Reliability even under intensive use, thanks to successful testing for 1,000,000 opening and closing cycles

For architects

  • Option to design single-leaf and double-leaf doors opening in both directions, providing wide design flexibility
  • Perfectly fitted meeting stiles with either brush seals or brush seals with an internal sealing foil
  • Doors safe for use in buildings intended for children

For manufacturers

  • Easy creation of full glazed structures with integrated doors, without the need for additional adapters
  • Three-chamber profile design with a central insulating chamber between shaped thermal breaks, 24 mm wide in the leaf and 34 mm in the frame
  • Choice of single-point or three-point locks, as well as panic hardware
  • Closed-shape glazing beads secure infills, enabling the construction of burglar-resistant units in line with PAS 24 certification requirements
  • Compatibility with other Aluprof solutions streamlines production

Why choose Aluprof products?
