Aluprof Launches "Control the Climate, Control the Costs" Campaign to Enhance Home Energy Efficiency

Aluprof, a leader in architectural aluminum systems, has always been committed to environmental sustainability. Their cutting-edge, eco-friendly products are designed to improve building energy efficiency and reduce heating and cooling costs. To further promote these solutions, Aluprof has introduced the "Control the Climate, Control the Costs" campaign, featuring renowned international football referee, Szymon Marciniak.

Energy-Efficient Windows and Doors - Saving Energy Year-Round

In this campaign, Aluprof showcases its premium energy-efficient aluminum products. Their windows and doors with superior thermal insulation meet the highest standards of energy efficiency. Utilizing advanced insulating materials and unique thermal breaks, these products are exceptional at preventing heat loss in the winter and minimizing heat gain in the summer, resulting in lower energy bills. Aluprof’s offerings not only provide excellent thermal insulation but also feature sleek designs and high functionality. For instance, the MB-SKYLINE TYPE R sliding door system offers a concealed frame and narrow profiles for maximum glazing area, delivering panoramic views while maintaining thermal efficiency. Similarly, the MB-82HS lift-and-slide patio door, with its "zero" threshold, custom linear drainage, slim mullion, and absence of trim strips on the vertical frames, combines visual appeal with user comfort.

Exterior Window Sunshades - Protecting the Climate and Reducing Energy Bills

For enhanced temperature management inside homes, Aluprof introduced innovative external sunshades. Notable among these are the pioneering SkyTwin system, which merges the functions of an external roller shutter and a screen in one product; SkyFlow Venetian blinds, with slats that can be freely adjusted to maintain optical comfort indoors; and SkyRoll screens, made from specialized technical fabrics that effectively reflect the sun's rays while serving as attractive façade features. Importantly, all these solutions are compatible with Aluprof's windows and doors, complementing them as part of the "all-in-one" concept to further enhance building energy efficiency by providing effective interior protection against intense heating or heat loss. Without an external sunshade, 30% to as much as 80% of the sun's rays enter rooms, causing them to heat up, which negatively impacts well-being and increases the demand for air conditioning. In contrast, sunshades installed on the outside of windows can block 80-90% of the sun's rays before they reach the glass. This performance is significantly better than interior shades, which only retain and absorb up to 37% of the sun's rays, with the rest causing an overheating effect. Interesting data comes from a simulation performed by Aluprof and fabric supplier Serge Ferrari on a hospital building in Berlin. The results showed that the annual energy demand for the south façade equipped with screens was reduced by 50%, and for the entire building by 30%. Further research by Aluprof and the Cracow University of Technology demonstrated that an external roller shutter can reduce window heat loss by up to 26%. Such excellent insulating performance of exterior shades translates into lower electricity and fossil fuel demand, providing both economic and environmental benefits. This is particularly significant in the context of electricity price increases expected after the unfreezing of prices on 1 July 2024. Experts at Guidehouse estimate that using smart and dynamic solar shading in Europe alone will reduce CO2 emissions by 100 million tons by 2050 and generate savings of up to EUR 285 billion.

All-in-One Solutions

The "Control the Climate, Control the Costs" campaign aligns perfectly with Aluprof's strategy, which emphasizes sustainable development and the implementation of responsible measures to reduce its carbon footprint. With the support of their internationally recognized ambassador, Szymon Marciniak, Aluprof aims to more effectively promote its comprehensive, energy-efficient solutions to enhance building energy efficiency. Lower energy demand not only results in significant savings on bills, crucial in an era of high energy costs, but also benefits customers financially. However, achieving maximum impact requires a comprehensive approach. This means utilizing "all-in-one" solutions that complement each other to provide even more effective protection against heat loss in winter and overheating in summer.

Aluprof Launches Global Promotional Campaign

The international "Control the Climate, Control the Costs" campaign aims to highlight the importance of building energy efficiency to homeowners, showcasing both financial and environmental benefits. By reducing the energy required for heating in winter and cooling in summer, homeowners can cut their heating and air conditioning bills by up to 30%, while also contributing to climate change mitigation.

The campaign, featuring football referee Szymon Marciniak, includes TV commercials, print ads, and extensive activities on the Internet and social media. The creative collective Digi Digi is responsible for the campaign concept, with F4 Studio coordinating the production of videos and sessions, directed by Bartosz Dombrowski. A central visual element of the campaign is a green card accompanied by the slogan "We play fair with nature." This symbolizes Marciniak's profession and the fair play principles he promotes, while also reflecting Aluprof's commitment to environmental values.
