Enter Your Building in the 5th "Building of the Year Created with ALUPROF Systems" Competition and Join the Jubilee Celebration!
Monday, May 6th marked the launch of the fifth international "Building of the Year Created with ALUPROF Systems" competition, a milestone event for the architectural and construction industry. In this prestigious edition, a jury of leading Polish architects will again select the most captivating buildings featuring ALUPROF systems. The deadline for entries is June 30, 2024, with the awards ceremony scheduled for October, preceded by the latest conference in the "Future Builders" series. As in previous years, the organizers will also let Internet users have their say, awarding the "Internet Users' Accolade" to the designer of the building receiving the most online votes.
Everything You Need to Know: Your Guide to the Jubilee Edition
The "Building of the Year Created with ALUPROF Systems" competition has already earned international acclaim and industry recognition. Open to architectural firms and independent architects in Poland and around the world, it aims to spotlight the most impressive buildings incorporating ALUPROF SA systems. This year's competition will focus on designs completed between January 1, 2022, and June 30, 2024. To participate in this fifth anniversary edition, submit your entry by June 30, 2024, using the form available at https://future-builders.com/en/contest/application-form or by mail to ALUPROF's head office. The postmark date will be decisive.
The Competition Structure
- Stage One: The organizers will select 50 entries to advance to Stage Two, which will be announced on the competition website within 15 days after the closing date.
- Stage Two: A jury of five professional architects will shortlist 10 finalists.
- Stage Three: The jury will select three winning designs. The Grand Prix winner will receive PLN 50,000, while the runner-up and third-place winners will earn PLN 30,000 and PLN 15,000, respectively.
Internet Users' Vote
From July 1 to August 16, 2024, Internet users can vote online at https://future-builders.com/en/contest, selecting the building they find most fascinating. The designer whose project receives the highest number of votes will be awarded the "Internet Users' Accolade."
Announcing the Winners
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on October 16, 2024, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Warsaw. This gala evening will follow an international conference covering key architectural issues and featuring discussions led by prominent architects from Poland and abroad.
