Aluprof’s MB-82HS lift-and-slide patio doors have been given a new lease of life. The system now features a series of innovative upgrades that improve functionality, streamline fabrication, and enhance the visual appeal of the structure.

The main innovation is the introduction of opening schemes C, G2, and G3. The system also offers roller carriages with greater load capacity — up to 270 kg for the low door sash, and up to 420 kg when using tandem roller carriages. The addition of modern Hautau Inviso fittings in silver and black further elevates the system’s design: all locking components are hidden from view, ensuring nothing interferes with the clear passage opening. Aesthetic reinforcements of the narrow side mullion, only 50 mm wide, provide both strength and style. Compatible with façade trims, they can also act as a decorative detail or, as in the MB-Skyline system, a pull handle — giving the overall design a sophisticated and cohesive look.

The latest MB-82HS update also introduces refined solutions for the threshold zone. In all opening schemes, the plastic elements in fixed sections can be replaced with aluminium, while in the G2 scheme they can also be covered with an elegant aluminium cover trim. This ensures that the threshold forms a harmonious part of the aluminium framing, blending perfectly with the structure’s colour scheme and emphasising the system’s refined aesthetics.
