ALUPROF’s Research & Innovation Centre Accredited by the PCA - We're Here at Your Service

On December 4, 2017, the ALUPROF’s Research & Innovation Centre received a PCA certification and officially became an accredited body. It is Poland’s first and one of Europe’s few accredited laboratories owned by a manufacturer of aluminium systems.

In the first quarter of 2017, the Research & Innovation Centre implemented an ISO 17025-compliant management system, following which an accreditation application was submitted to the Polish Centre for Accreditation (PCA). During the audits and the final assessment, the laboratory staff proved that the Centre meets all the criteria, standards and requirements of PCA.

The certification issued by the Polish Centre for Accreditation confirmed the high level of independence, impartiality and competence of the staff working at ALUPROF’s Research & Innovation Centre. — This document also confirms that the results obtained by the laboratory are reliable and indisputable — says Piotr Ciemała, Quality Manager at the Laboratory. While preparing the final assessment, PCA emphasized that the Research & Innovation Centre’s strength is its committed staff as well as the quick and competent operation made possible thanks to an in-depth knowledge of the test methods.

ALUPROF’s Research & Innovation Centre conducts tests to European (EN) and American (ASTM, AAMA) test standards. The Centre owns the Central and Eastern Europe's largest test chamber used for evaluating the performance of windows, doors, curtain walls and exterior louvers.
