MB-100GFT ST Commercial doors & ground floor treatment system

The new, thermally broken door & shop window system from Aluprof is used for entrances on the ground floor, wherever enhanced thermal insulation and mechanical durability are required. The MB-100GFT will be appreciated by anyone looking for a door with a strong structure, resistant to repeated and intensive use. The system is designed for fabricating single and double doors, shop windows and spatial structures. Key advantages here are aesthetics, convenience and safety of use. The MB-100GFT doors feature a low-level threshold, a door closer concealed in the frame and a ‘safe stop’ on the hinge side. When needed, doors can swing or open in one direction only. The profiles are available in two thermal variants which differ in terms of the level of insulation: the basic ST variant and the SI variant with enhanced insulation, obtained by employing thermal inserts. What’s more, this modular construction is simple and quick to prefabricate, which reduces the lead time and accelerates the on-site work.

Features & benefits of the construction:

• structural depth of the profiles: 69 mm (vertical, lock profiles of the door leaf), 67 mm (horizontal profiles of the leaf), 100 mm (shop window profiles and vertical, hinge profile of the door leaf)
• door opens in both directions, but it can swing or open in one direction only
• maximum size of the door leaf: Hs=2.5 m, Ls=1.15 m; maximum leaf weight: 80 kg
• profiles are three-chambered by design, their central part being an insulation area between the shaped, 24 or 34 mm-wide thermal breaks for the leaf and the frame, respectively.
• profiles come in two thermal variants: ST (empty chambered) or SI – with EPS or polyethylene inserts between thermal breaks
• low U_f -value thanks to the wide thermal breaks and inserts present in the thermal insulation area
• glazing options, up to 48 mm for doors and up to 32 mm for fixed glazing
• the system can be used with 1 or 3-point locks and panic hardware
• shop windows are segment-based and feature starter profiles designed to serve as drainage elements and construction levelling. Shop window segments are snapped-on
