MB-70US, MB-70US HI Window system with hidden sash

The MB-70 Hidden Casement system is development of the thermal break MB-70 system produced by ALUPROF S.A.

As for the aesthetics, this system is identical to MB-60US structure, , its advantage is the enhanced thermal insulation performance. The value of heat transfer coefficient U_f, depending on the specified profiles, ranges between 1.35 and 2.16 W/(m²K). The system also comes in a further option featuring enhanced thermal insulation performance in MB-70US HI, with the value of heat transfer coefficient U_f between 1.31 and 2.0 W/(m²K).

Windows made in MB-70US system offer casements opening vents that are unseen from the exterior side of the building. The position of the adjacent fixed and openable windows have similar sight lines so aesthetically a row of adjacent fixed and accessible windows all looks the same. As the sightline of window frames is narrow this offers the installed window system to look slender and light.

Similar to the standard solution, MB-70 windows have an effective water drainage and ventilation system from the vent glazing chamber also from the chamber between the casement vent and frame, with ventilation and drainage holes covered from the outside with cover caps.

A further characteristic of the MB-70US window system is that it is closely connected with other MB systems. Adapting this design principle allows the adoption of many common elements such as common glazing beads, gaskets, hardware and other components.
