Accredited laboratory at ALUPROF S.A.

One of the Kęty Group companies, Metalplast Karo Złotów S.A., has the accredited Measuring and Research Laboratory situated on the premises of Aluprof S.A in Bielsko-Biala. The Laboratory is fitted with state-of-the-art equipment. The equipment includes, among other things, the biggest in Central-Eastern Europe chamber for testing windows, doors, facades and internal shutters with regard to resistance to weather conditions: air permeability, waterproofness, and wind load. Components 6.5 m high and 6 m wide can be tested in the chamber. The device is fully automated and computerised.

Another item of the equipment in the Laboratory is the station for testing windows and doors with regard to the mechanical properties:

for repeated opening and closing (cycles) of windows and doors

for fixed and dynamic loads

for anti-burglary protection

Among other things, certification and routine tests are carried out in the Laboratory. Aluprof is the only system-granting company operating in Poland which has an accredited laboratory on its own premises.

A great advantage is also price competitiveness in relation to other research laboratories in Poland.

The Laboratory has signed an agreement with the most prestigious research institute in Europe – IFT Rosenheim for carrying out tests certified by IFT Rosenheim.
