Aluprof becomes a strategic partner of the 5th Polish Joinery Industry Congress

The joinery congress is one of the most important events for the industry. Every year, it brings together entrepreneurs, men of science, politicians and media to meet and discuss the condition as well as the future of one of the most important industries of the Polish economy. This year’s edition of the Congress will see the results of the Bargework contest – An Office on the Water.

Aluprof, as a manufacturer of innovative solutions for the construction industry, has partnered not only the Congress but also the innovative Bargework An Office on the Water contest. The contest aims at designing a modular building to float on the Vistula River. The contest for an office building floating on a river is a unique initiative and a great chance to create an object of a remarkable shape that will enrich Warsaw architecture while becoming a part of the urban fabric. Our company willingly supports projects that are likely to foster the development of architecture, so we are happy to have engaged in the Bargework contest - says Tomasz Grela, Aluprof S.A. Board President.

The best design will be rewarded during the 5th Polish Joinery Industry Congress. The ceremony will include the grand unveiling of the design mock-up and the winner is going to walk away with PLN 20 000.

The 5th Polish Joinery Industry Congress also involves a series of meetings and discussion panels that bring decisions important for the entire industry, defining the directions of development, methods of promotion on overseas markets and support from government agencies. This year’s edition of the congress revolves around the opportunities and threats posed by the introduction of the brand to the international market and building a Polish brand overseas. The internationalization of Polish enterprises is seen as a way for increased profitability and further development of the industry. The visible economic recovery is a great opportunity for manufacturers and distributors. Another important issue will be the problems associated with the architecture and proper installation of joinery products. Aluprof’s systems are used in many buildings around the world which for years has let us build the image of the brand and Poland abroad. Many of our customers continue to successfully export our products. We are committed to the development of the industry and for this reason the role of a strategic partner of the Congress is a great honour for us - says Tomasz Grela of Aluprof S.A. The key to Aluprof’s success lays in cooperation with architects and investors, finding a match between the art in the design of a building and the economic as well as functional approach. A great number of solutions was originally developed for specific projects.

The Congress will host, for the second time, the ceremony of the Eagles of Polish Joinery Industry awards. These are granted in two categories: "Leader of Export of Polish Engineering Solutions” and "Personality of the Year of the Joinery Industry". The former will award the best exporters of joinery solutions who, through their activities, promote Polish industry in foreign countries. The “Personality of the Year” award is designed for the person who, in a special way, contributed to the development of the joinery industry, a business or a product.

The 5th Polish Joinery Industry Congress will be held on May, 23rd and 24th in Warsaw.
