As in the past years, the cycle of meetings entitled the Days of Architecture was started at the end of February. The first meeting was held in Bratislava on February 25th. Organised by ASICE, the cycle of meetings, the scope of which covers the whole country, is called the biggest architectural event in Slovakia. The inspiring meetings will also be held in Banska Bistrica as well as Trencin, Zilina and Kosice. The Days of Architecture consist of a number of lectures which are a pretext for meetings and discussions on architecture. Modern buildings, designs, visualisations, skyscrapers – all  are the key words of the Bratislava event. The designs of Atelier Simona realised based on ALUPROF systems – the “Bird” and the “Crab” projects, awarded as the Building of the Year, aroused huge interest. Let us remind you: the non-typical building in a shape resembling a bird is a dwelling house located in Kunčice near Ondřejník. The system mainly used in the building construction was MB-SR50 EFEKT.
