Euro 2012 stadiums in Aluprof systems

Aluprof systems will be used on the Lech Stadium in Poznan, Legia Stadium in Warsaw and Baltic Arena in Gdansk that are under construction. The fight for the Warsaw and Wroclaw stadiums is still in progress. Aluprof submitted offers for all the Euro 2012 stadiums. The individual solutions allowing for the use of new profiles, glass and accessories have been prepared. The owners of the Lech Stadium in Poznan and Legia Stadium in Warsaw were the first who dealt with the tendering procedure. Both tenders for the construction of stadiums with regard to glazed aluminium metalwork were won by the construction company OPAL from Grodzisk Wielkopolski whose offer to a large extent was based on Aluprof systems. Aluprof systems will also be used for the construction of the Baltic Arena in Gdansk the design of which provides for the roof of approx. 45 thousand m². Undoubtedly, the advantage of Aluprof is that it is part of the listed company – Grupa Kęty S.A. This inspires a large confidence from theinvestors who really want Polish stadiums to be built by Polish companies.
