Maciej Franta Featured on Future Builders Talks
Join us on 13 August at 11:00 a.m. for an exclusive online session with Maciej Franta, one of Poland's most acclaimed young architects, as part of the Future Builders project.
This event marks the debut of our newly revamped Future Builders format—expect a larger studio, extended interviews, and a wealth of inspiration and insight. The discussion will cover topics like spatial planning, the nuances of good and bad architecture, and the contrasts in design practices between Poland and the international scene.
Maciej Franta is a graduate of, and an ambassador for, the faculty of Architecture at the Cracow University of Technology. He also studied at the University of Knoxville, in Tennessee, going on to gain experience at the Gensler architectural practice in New York and, in 2008, in Dublin. He began working at Franta & Franta Architekci sp. z o.o. in 2008 and began running the unquestionably successful Franta Group Architects, which brings together more than twenty architects, in 2010. He was shortlisted for the Europe 40 Under 40® architects awards in 2022 and, that same year, he also won the title of Architect of the Year in a competition organised by The Architecture Community website.
