One of the most modern office and retail complex in Poland is being built in the Warsaw’s Wola district, on the outskirts of the Central Business Area. PROXIMO, whose name refers to the star Proxima Centauri, will consist of top-class office buildings totaling 46,335 m².

This multifunctional complex designed with the cooperation of architectural studio Rolfe Judd and Studio Pininfarina combines aesthetics, functionality and modern technology to provide comfort of use to its tenants. Created with the idea of sustainable building in mind, the design involves environmentally-friendly building and finishing materials that emit minimal amounts of volatile organic compounds to significantly improve the quality of the air in the offices. Environmental approach, comfort of use and appropriate location are the main factors that made PROXIMO win the international certificate BREEAM VERY GOOD.

A combination of concrete, glass and aluminium is what makes the building look so modern. Large glazing areas were created with the mullion-transom façade system MB-SR50N HI+ manufactured by Aluprof. This highly insulated system is intended to construct light curtain walls. The first stage of the project also uses other systems offered by Aluprof: MB-SR50N EFEKT, MB-86SI, MB-DPA and MB-SUNPROF. Inauguration of the opening of the first office building took place this 16 June 2016.
