MB-60 EF, MB-60EF HI Window for mb-sr50n efekt façade with a thermal break

The system offers windows suitable for installation in the curtain wall, MB-SR50N EFEKT. This all glass facade is then punctuated with windows which line up with the surface of the external glazing. This visual effect is often a preferable solution for architects.

The MB-60EF windows installed into the facade feature excellent thermal insulation performance, due to the internal insulation of window profiles, facade and glass panes as a continuous loop around the glazing. The window profile is fitted with a special, grooved thermal spacer, which enables installation of the windows by means of standard connecting members applied in the MB-SR50 N EFEKT facade. This solution considerably speeds up and facilitates the process of window installation, contributing to its cost efficiency. The thickness and type of glazing, applied hardware available and allowable dimensions of windows, are the same as in the base MB-60 system.

In a further development of the system is an improved thermal insulation system, MB-60EF HI has been developed to include? the improved thermal insulation has been obtained by placing special inserts in the central chambers of aluminium profiles between the polyamide thermal break. Owing to a low value of the heat-transfer coefficient, the inserts decrease heat transfer through the frame construction and in turn reduces convection and thermal radiation.
