SKB/F Top mounted external venetian blinds

Top-mounted roller shutter system SKB Styroterm is a high-tech advanced solution, which was developed to improve energy balance of the building. This product can be used both in newly erected buildings and during modernization of existing buildings while replacing window joinery. Similarly to the Opoterm system, the roller blind assembly consists in direct mounting of the box on the window frame using a suitably selected adaptive profile. Aluprof offers several variants, which are compatible with 90% of the profiles commercially available. The SKB Styroterm system is designed to be completely embedded in the insulation, so the box remains an unnoticeable element of the building façade.

The main component of this product is the box, which has been made of a material specially designed to the Aluprof's order, characterized by very good thermal properties. It is available in two sizes: 260 x 260mm and 300 x 300mm. The advantage of this product is also an option to choose the inspection method: either from indoors or outdoors, which is extremely important in the case of maintenance. The well thought-out design of the system enables the use of Venetian blinds' mechanism in the box. Thanks to this, both roller shutters and Venetian blinds can be aesthetically juxtaposed on the same façade, ensuring uniform appearance of the building façade. The roller blind armoring can be made of foam-filled profiles or plastic profiles. Roller-shutters in the STYROTERM system can be equipped with a insect screen built into the box. Its assembly is very quick and easy thanks to the application of "click-on" installation technology.
