External Venetian blinds – precise daylight control
External Venetian blinds are among the most advanced shading solutions available, thanks to systems that provide precise adjustment of the blind slats. Their ability to accommodate large dimensions makes them suitable for both office buildings and residential buildings featuring large-format glazing. Aluprof offers:
- surface-mounted external Venetian blinds;
- self-supporting external Venetian blinds;
- concealed Venetian blinds;
- systems designed for integration into mullion-and-transom curtain walls.
Screens as a form of active sun shading
Screens use specialist technical fabrics that reduce the transmission of solar radiation while preserving outward visibility. SkyRoll solutions are available in ZIP variants, in which the fabric is retained within the guide channels using zip technology, as well as Classic and Eco variants. The range also includes SkyRoll In internal roller blinds, which regulate the amount of light entering a room and enhance user comfort. Aluprof screens are available both as bespoke systems manufactured to order and as ready-made products, allowing them to be tailored to different requirements and project types.
External roller shutters supporting building energy efficiency
External roller shutters provide an effective barrier against indoor overheating in summer and help reduce heat loss during the heating season. Depending on the design requirements, the following systems are available:
- front-mounted systems;
- flush-mounted systems;
- top-mounted systems. Curtains made from foam-filled aluminium profiles or extruded profiles offer excellent durability and weather resistance. Selected variants can also meet the requirements of burglar-resistance classes RC2 and RC3. Aluprof also offers solutions that combine the functions of different types of shading. One example is the SkyTwin roller-screen system, which integrates an external roller shutter and a screen within a single structure. This solution brings together the advantages of both technologies: effective sun protection, improved thermal insulation and continued control over indoor light levels.
Pergolas as an element of outdoor architecture
Modern aluminium pergolas complement the shading solutions used in terrace areas, leisure areas and commercial buildings. Structures fitted with adjustable roof louvres allow users to control the amount of light entering the covered area while providing natural ventilation. Integration with OpenSlide all-glass enclosures makes it possible to create multifunctional spaces that can be enjoyed in a wide range of weather conditions.
