Aluprof – the Pearl of the Polish Economy

In the 10th edition of the Pearls of the Polish Economy, Aluprof S.A. was ranked 11th in the category Large Pearls. A hundred most effective and efficient companies, which can achieve the best effects from their labour force and capital, were nominated for participation in the survey. At the same time, the company was ranked 21st in the category of Pearls of the Manufacturing and Services Sector.

It was the second time that Aluprof has been granted the title of Large Pearl of the Polish Economy. Last year, it was ranked 13th.

“We are very happy that Aluprof’s activity was appreciated in the Pearls of the Polish Economy Survey once more. It’s proof that our development strategy focused on the achievement of a strong position both in Poland and on foreign markets brings positive effects. This honour objectively confirms the quality and business model of Aluprof and motivates us for further and consequent accomplishment of the company’s development plans” – said Tomasz Grela, CEO, President of the Board of Directors of Aluprof.

The effectiveness criteria were: percentage increase in sales revenue, turnover profitability rate, general debt ratio, rate of return on assets, rate of return on invested capital, total productivity of human resources and labour effectiveness. The total scores granted for meeting these seven criteria allows the pearls of the Polish economy to be selected in a relatively objective manner. The honorary patronage over this prestigious enterprise was taken by: Waldemar Pawlak, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, and Prof. Michał Kleiber, the President of the Polish Academy of Science.
